Synergistic Activities

  • created and taught three new materials-based courses at NMSU: "Introduction to Modern Materials", "Magnetism, Magnetic Devices and Magnet Technology" and "Advanced Modern Materials", all of which have large nanoscience components
  • helped with curriculum development for the newly introduced BS degree in Engineering Physics at NMSU
  • helped with the design and development of new tutorial-based undergraduate and graduate labs that contain nanoscience components
  • arranged for summer employment at LANL for undergraduate and graduate students in the past
